Before the ropes.

Start with the person getting tied: what feels welcome, what stays off limits, and what their body needs today. Negotiate ropes and every addition separately. Consent is specific, ongoing, and can be withdrawn at any time.

01 / Define your scene

For consenting adults. The person getting tied leads their own boundaries. Each person answers for themself. A “No” or hard limit from either person excludes an activity, even if Shared agreement says yes. No answer is not permission. Both may stop or change their mind at any time.

Exclude all sexual activities and collapse their questions. Previous sexual approvals are cleared; turning this off requires fresh answers and agreement. Existing limits and notes are kept.

02 / Body boundaries

Choose Map or Checkboxes, choose a marking tool, then select regions on each person's front/back map. Select again to remove that mark. Injury marks can coexist with a boundary. Unmarked regions are unresolved, not permission. Left and right refer to the person's own body. No-go regions are removed from receiving choices automatically. Yellow and purple choices remind you of caution and injury limits.

How to use this checklist

For each topic, record each person’s preference, then decide together. “Open” means willing to discuss; it is not a promise to participate. Shared agreement needs specific limits, an extent or duration, and receiving areas when shown. Unresolved activities stay outside the plan.

Stop for numbness, tingling, weakness, breathing trouble, faintness, or loss of response. Begin the agreed release or lowering plan and get appropriate help; persistent or severe symptoms need medical assessment. Never leave a restrained person unattended. This is a negotiation aid, not tying instruction, medical clearance, or proof that an activity is safe.

Health information & safety references

Record functional limits and precautions you need to share; diagnoses and medical history are optional. Body maps show boundaries, not safe rope placement. Even unmarked areas carry risks. No-go areas override any selected receiving areas.

14 / Signals, injuries & practical care

15 / Discussion summary

Your recorded agreement does not replace ongoing consent. Each addition, position change, and change of participant needs its own agreement. Resolve limits, receiving areas, injuries, signals, and release arrangements before participating. A reviewed checklist cannot establish safety.

Final review

Each person checks their own box after reading the current plan. These record review only, not medical clearance or ongoing consent. Any edit or reopened draft clears these checks. Unresolved or excluded activities are outside the plan.
